A Day With Dior Make-Up | Paris

A dream came true when attending my very first Dior show with Dior Make-Up. Ever since I started working with Dior Make-Up it has been such a beautiful journey: the Poison Girl trip to New York, the Miss Dior Bloom trip to Grasse and now the unforgettable experience with Dior in Paris. I checked into my favorite hotel the The Hôtel Plaza Athénée the evening before the show and already found some of my favorite Dior Make-Up products such as the Dreamskin Cushion and the Diorshow Pump’N’Volume.

In the morning Norman Pohl, Dior international Pro Team Makeup Artist, came into my beautiful Parisian room to create a beautiful make-up for the show. We’ve been also shooting for Grazia (you can find the article: here) and filmed a getting ready with dear Britta of June Mag. Norman created a beautiful glowy make-up and used one of my new Dior favorites: the Rouge Dior Liquid Satin Lipgloss. The gloss comes in three vibrant finishes: Matte, Metal and Satin. For the Dior show we used “Satin” and I loved how the gloss added an extra sparkle to Norman’S beautiful make-up  It’s been a fun morning and afterwards I was excited to unwrap some Dior accessories and clothes for the show. I totally felt for black overknees, a volumous shorts, lots of necklaces, big earrings and a cool Dior logo bag.

Before the show I had the chance to meet Peter Philips backstage, who is the Creative and Image Director Dior Makeup, and even during the busy schedule before the show he took the time to talk me through the make-up for the show. I especially loved the 70s inspired eye make up with XXL lashes.

Afterwards it was time for my very first Dior show and I felt so thankful for this amazing experience with the whole Dior make-up team – especially thanks to my loves Christina and Norman. Thank you for the beautiful make-up and all the support – I can’t wait for my next adventure with you. xx Leonie
