Pink Outfit Ideas

I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with colour but over the past year, I’ve really fallen for pink! In fact, I have such a collection of pink outfits now, that I decided to share some of my favourites with you and a few tips on how I would style them. I hope that these rose-tinted looks inspire you!

Fuchsia is bold and feminine, but also powerful. Particularly when worn from head-to-toe. While I love a colour coordinating suit, I chose to pair these bright Boss trousers with a chunky knit to complete the monochrome look. The different textures and white accessories, like my Bottega pouch bag, break up the otherwise vibrant palette.

Pale pink is often perceived as super girly and in the UK it’s even described as ‘baby pink’! But styled correctly, it can be flattering at any age. For example, the powder pink leather Ferragmo skirt, pictured below, makes this outfit more dynamic, adding a touch of maturity. To complete the look, I opted for darker accessories, preventing the light tones from washing me out!

Delicate, dreamy dresses like this beautiful Emilio Pucci style are amazing when layered with a structured blazer. I just love the contrast between the sharp lines and the floaty printed fabric underneath. Plus, it’s versatile and will easily see you through from day to night, making it more like two looks in one!

Now onto mixing and matching! One of the easiest ways to match a bright colour is to play around with different tones. I paired this Aje blazer with purple variations, to diversify the pink. To finish things off, I accessorised with a few Chanel pins. The extra sparkle draws attention to the cool, edgy cut-out detail on the blazer, giving it a unique and unexpected twist!

Sometimes, it’s fun to really make a statement with bold colours that should technically clash but actually end up working well together! Like pink and orange. The key is to keep the colour blocking streamlined so it doesn’t look messy. For example, this sheer Miu Miu shirt matches my sunglasses and then moves on to the orange section, with the Jacquemus belt bag and trousers. But if I’d worn orange sunglasses instead, it would have been completely different!

And finally, what the Editors would call a ‘pop’ of colour. I typically style neutral colours with my bright pink Jacquemus trousers, they make such a statement all by themselves so they don’t really need much else! This pastel Fendi bag ties everything together as it still incorporates the pink, as well as the more muted tones.

Here is another example of bright pink pants, because I really love this kind of look! This time I chose a more oversized style from Aje, so I added a fitted shirt and a crisp, white structured blazer for spring, keeping things fresh and fun.

Most of the looks above are of course fashion week outfits, but you can also recreate them at home using high street alternatives. I would definitely invest in the more timeless styles like my favourite Jacquemus mini bag and Gucci sunglasses as you can match these with so much, but you can also mix in more affordable options like a cosy pink sweater.

Which is your favourite pink style? <3
